The Olujigba of Ijigba community, Amb. Rev. ‘Luyi Rotimi, FCA, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the governor of Ondo state, the people of Owo community and the Catholic church over the gruesome killing of worshippers by unknown gunmen, on Sunday morning at St. Xavier Francis catholic church.
In his condolence message made available to JATS Online Newspapers, the traditional ruler urged the government and security agencies to do everything possible in ensuring that justice prevail and perpetrators were brought to book.
His words: “My deepest condolences to the Government and people of Owo and his imperial majesty the olowo of Owo on the mindless attack on the defendless worshipers on the black Sunday
“May these wicked people never rest until they are arrested and dealth with.e
May God grant their souls rest in perfect peace
May I plead that all forest reserves in Ondo state be fine combed and these miscreants be flushed out urgently”.
