Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has won the All Progressive Congress Presidential’s ticket to contest the 2023 General elections.
Tinubu garnered 1271 votes to defeat his closest co-contestants, Rotimi Amaech who has 316 votes and the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who garners 235 votes.
At the primary election which started with accreditation of delegates and manifesto at the Eagles Square Abuja the Federal Capital territory, seven aspirants had earlier stepped down for Tinubu during the manifesto night which lasted till midnight.
Proper voting, however, started this morning with 14 aspirants who slugged it out.
