Members of the Ondo State Road Traffic Special Mayors, have congratulated Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, for his national honor as a Commander of the Order of Niger,(CON) bestowed on him by President Muhammad Buhari, recently.
Speaking on behalf of the association, Mayor Tobi Ogunleye, described the honour done to the Governor who is the Patron of the State Road Traffic Special Mayors, and other members of the group, as prestigious.
He revealed that four members of the group were also given national award, saying it was a plus for them., noted that the development was a challenge for them to work harder, describing it as well-deserved.
“We are appreciating our Governor, Arakurin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, (SAN, OON)whom we are emulating his good works in Ondo State”.
Other members of the group who got national awards included, the Proprietress of Mummy’s Place school whose school got Best Private School in Nigeria award, the Deji of Akure, Oba Dr. Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi Odundun II, Chief Rotimi Ibidapo, OON, and Prof. Sesan Peter Ayodeji, who received Nigeria Prize for science award by Nigeria LNG.
