Families and friends of a 56-year old civil servant, Mrs Ifedolapo Sanyaolu, have appealed to Nigerians and philanthropists for financial aid to save her life, struggling with kidney related disease that require treatment overseas.
Mrs Sanyaolu, in a Lagos State University Teaching Hospital medical report, LASUTH/DUST-MEDR/03/VOL.XL/594, dated January 17, 2022, was diagnosed of kidney related illness by the nephrology team.
In the medical report, HOSP NO: 530095, signed by the Director of Clinical Services and Training/CMAC, Prof. Adewale Adekoya, the patient has been receiving treatment and care from the consultant in charge since December 2021.

Damilola noted that they expend over N250,000 weekly for dialysis, making them to exhaust all their savings and loans borrowed to save the life of her mother.
She disclosed that her mother, a teacher of Ifesowapo Aboru Junior Secondary School, Lagos State and native of Ilutitun, Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, need over N19 million for treatment overseas.
Alumni Association of Stella Maris College (SMC), Okitipupa, Ondo State, urged government at all levels, philanthropists and well-meaning Nigerians to help save one of the most peace-loving and promising members of the 1981 set, Sanyaolu.
The National Coordinator of SMC Revamp Project, Mrs Bose Kevu, who is a classmate of the victim, lamented that “She has been undergoing twice weekly regular dialysis which has severely depleted her resources.”
Kevu, who cried out for more financial support, disclosed that “The recommendation and plan is for her to have a kidney transplant which will cost a minimum of 19M.
“This is an urgent appeal for you to help Ifedolapo with any amount in this battle. Your donation/ support regardless of the amount will help save a life,” she said.
