INEC announces HoR results in Ondo, as APC’s Adelegbe, BTO, Odimayo, Adefarati win constituencies

..two serving Lawmakers, Small Alhaji of Idanre/Ifedore, Ikengboju defeated

Two serving members of the House of Representatives from Irele/Okitipupa and Ifedore/Idanre Federal constituencies, Hon Gboluga Ikengboju of the PDP and Hon Tajudeen Adefisoye of the APC popularly known as Small Alhaji, have lost reelection, respectively.

Adefisoye was defeated by a state lawmaker from Idanre, Hon Festus Akingbaso aka Fessywest of the PDP.

Akingbaso scored 24,263 to defeat incumbent APC’s Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye, who polled 20,064 to come second.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC also declared Prince Jimi Odimayo of the All Progressives Congress, APC, of the Okitipupa/Irele Federal constituency as the winner.

Prince Jimi Odimayo defeated the incumbent lawmaker representing the Constituency, Hon Gboluga Ikengboju of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP with 23572.

According to the results released by INEC, Prince Jimi Odimayo of the APC polled 44,638 to defeat Hon Gboluga Ikengboju of PDP who also polled 21,066.


APC: 44, 638 (Jimi Odimayo won)

PDP 21,066 (Incumbent Rep, Gboluga lost)

Also in Akoko Federal Constituencies, a Member of the House representing Akoko North East/ North West Federal Constituency, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, popularly known as BTO, has been declared the winner of the just concluded House of Representatives election in the Federal Constituency.

BTO also becomes the first incumbent federal lawmaker from the area to win reelection in the history of the federal constituency.

BTO polled, a candidate of the APC polled 51532 (84.5%) votes to defeat his closest opponent of the PDP, who garnered 9014 (14.8%).

In Akoko South West/South East Federal Constituency, Otunba Adegboyega Adefarati of the APCwon the Reps seat.

In Ose/Owo Federal Constituency, Hon. Timehin Adelegbe of the APC has also been declared reelected.
